 Ozkan Iron and Steel has received the qualification certificates of ISO 9002:1994 quality systems in 1997 and ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems certificate in 2003, which gave advantages to Ozkan against its competitors in foreign trade and in the industry.

 While applying the system Ozkan Iron and Steel has formed a common quality language and matching working principles.

 With the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standards, Ozkan Iron and Steel Inc. aims to increase the customer satisfaction to the highest level by using an administration procedure regulating  investigation of customer needs and target market, Research and Development, production, procedures and sub-procedures of sales activities.

 ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Aim: to avoid and decrease negative effects of waste materials produced as a result of iron and steel industry activities.

Ozkan Iron & Steel Inc. is in process of receiving the ISO 14001: 2004 Environmental Management System in addition to already received ISO 9001 quality management systems certificate. In relation to Environmental Management System, below mentioned policy has been formed;

 To apply the Environmental Policy at Ozkan Iron & Steel Inc. producing steel profiles;

 

·         In relation to environmental issues; follow the existing laws and other regulations that we are responsible of and improve the Environmental Management System,

·         Decrease use of natural resources

·         Control all of the wastes, increase recycling process and avoid contamination,

·         Act with employees, suppliers and customers to increase the care for environment,

·         Take precautions to decrease the emergency case risks.
